FM condemns terrorist attack on Russian embassy in Kabul
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf, on Monday expressed the National Salvation Government’s condemnation of the terrorist attack on the headquarters of the Russian Embassy in the Afghan capital, Kabul, which led to the killing of two diplomats.
In a letter sent to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergei Lavrov, Sharaf expressed condolences to the Russian government and the families of the victims.
The Foreign Minister stressed that targeting diplomatic headquarters is a violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and all diplomatic values and norms.
