President Al-Mashat directs to grant merchants who are obligated to pay zakat the list of privileges prepared by the Ministry of Finance

His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, the head of the Supreme Political Council, met today, Wednesday, with the Chairman of the General Authority for Zakat, Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nishtan, and the Authority’s Undersecretary for the Banking Sector, Muhammad Al-Ayani.

During the meeting, he reviewed the projects implemented by the authority during the year 1443 AH, which include the agricultural, fisheries and livestock fields, food industries projects, the vocational empowerment program, which numbered 50 projects, and the plans of the General Authority for Zakat for the year 1444 AH.

President Al-Mashat praised the outstanding efforts of the General Authority for Zakat in various fields.

President Al-Mashat directed to honor the merchants who are committed to paying their zakat, and to grant them the list of privileges prepared by the Ministry of Finance.
