President Al-Mashat: We look forward to the Norwegian role in alleviating the human suffering of the Yemeni people

His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, met today, Wednesday, with the Regional Director of the Norwegian Center for Conflict Resolution Norf Omar Abboud.

In the meeting, President Al-Mashat welcomed the visit of the regional director of the Norwegian Center for Conflict Resolution to Sanaa to learn about the humanitarian situation of the Yemeni people as a result of the aggression and siege for the eighth year in a row, and the horrific crimes committed by the US-led aggression coalition against Yemen, land and people.

He expressed Yemen’s aspiration for the Norwegian role in alleviating the human suffering of the Yemeni people, noting the decision taken by Norway to stop the export of arms to the UAE.
