Health Spokesperson: There will be strict measures to curb the spread of smuggled medicines

The spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Mr. Anis Al-Asbahi, today, Monday, that there will be strict measures in order to limit the spread of smuggled drugs that harm the health of the citizen and also the national economy.

Commenting on the death of 10 children as a result of the use of smuggled medicine, Al-Asbahi explained to almasirah that committees were formed from the ministry, the General Authority for Medicines and health offices to go to the field and seize all smuggled and corrupt medicines.

He added that there are investigations being carried out by the Ministry of Health committee and pediatric consultants, and this file was referred to the deputy year to complete legal procedures.
