PM: The development program is a qualitative work, depends on partnership
Quoted from the official Saba News Agency that the Prime Minister Abdulaziz bin Habtoor chaired a meeting at the ministry of local administration to discuss the ministry’s activity and level of implementation of its annual plans, programs and development projects as well as its supervisory role on localities.
The meeting, which included deputy prime minister for national vision affairs Mahmoud al-Junaid, ministers of local administration Ali Al-Qaisi, and agriculture Abdulmalik al-Thawr, the State Ahmed al-Ali, addressed the ministry’s vision and a project to organize its sectors as well as how to achieve its effectiveness in performing its tasks.
Bin Habtoor touched on the ministry’s program related to launching humanitarian development work by taking advantage of the recovery and preparation stage, preparing for the reconstruction process, encouraging social initiatives and stimulating the release of society’s energies in productive areas to reach self-sufficiency and encouraging the establishment and expansion of multi-purpose cooperative societies at the level of rural Yemen.
The meeting focused on analyzing the current situation in the context of the second interim plan of the National Vision, which was carried out by the Ministry of Local Administration, which included the analysis of development and service projects in all districts under the administration of the Supreme Political Council and the Salvation Government and determining the size of achievement and the progress of its implementation.
The meeting also focused on the progress of networking and the efforts to automate the work of the ministry, which paves the way for the transition to automating work in all provinces as well as the ministry’s work in inventorying and repairing the mechanisms and equipment of the local authority, especially for road construction, in addition to the efforts of the training center and rehabilitation and its qualifying program, which includes administrative leaders and local authority cadres at the level of the ministry and localities.
