Daesh terrorist group claims responsibility terrorist attack in Shiraz, Iran
The Islamic State (Daesh) terrorist group has claimed responsibility for an attack Wednesday on a Shiite Muslim shrine in southern Iran that state media said killed more than a dozen people, Reuters reported, citing the group statement on Telegram.
“This evening, the soldiers of the Caliphate, by the grace of God Almighty, carried out an operation against a polytheist temple for the rafidhis in the city of Shiraz. This operation resulted in forty dead and wounded, praise be to God,” Daesh’s statement read.
At least 15 people, including a woman and two children, have been killed and 40 others have been injured so far in this terrorist attack.
