Israeli occupation warplanes launch series of raids on Gaza Strip

Israeli occupation warplanes launched a series of airstrikes targeting the central Gaza Strip early Friday, Palestinian media reported.

According to the media, Israeli warplanes attacked with at least 10 missiles a Palestinian resistance location in the Al-Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip, causing destruction and fire to erupt at the site, at dawn today.

Sources reported that the bombardment caused destruction to some neighboring houses and shops and a power cut in the camp.

For its part, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades said in a brief statement that “the criminal Israeli occupation at dawn on Friday targeted the site of the “13th Battalion” of the Qassam Brigades at the entrance to the Maghazi camp with a large number of bombs, and our ground air defenses  have confronted hostile warplanes.”

“The Qassam Brigades will remain the spearhead defending their people, land and confronting the brutal aggression in every part of Palestine,” the brigades added, “and those who have wronged will know which one to turn over.”

On Thursday evening, the Zionist enemy army claimed that three rockets were fired three from the Gaza Strip towards the settlements adjacent to the Strip.
