More than seven tons of expired foodstuffs destroyed in Hajjah
The Office of Industry and Trade in Hajjah province destroyed seven and a half tons of expired foodstuffs in the districts of Najra and Mastaba.
Director of the Office of Industry, Mahmoud Wahban, explained that the destroyed materials were seized during the last period in the commercial stores during the campaigns of control and inspection of the markets in the two districts.
Wahban pointed out that these materials included honey, dates, biscuits and various materials that are not suitable for human use.
He stressed the keenness of the Industry Office and its branches in the districts to intensify control campaigns and not to be complacent in taking measures against violators, calling on citizens to cooperate with the office and report expired and damaged goods.
