Abdul Qadir Al-Murtada, head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs, confirmed today, Thursday, that the Saudi regime bears responsibility for the stalemate that entered the largest prisoner exchange deal since the beginning of the aggression, as it holds all the files of mercenaries, including the file of prisoners.
Al-Murtada said in a statement to Al-Masirah: We are in contact with the Saudi side, and we assure them that their prisoners will not be released except with a comprehensive deal.
He explained that the Saudi regime is putting sticks in the wheels of the grand bargain through its mercenaries in Marib by putting forward new conditions and names.. adding, “We hoped by the end of the year 2022 AD to close the file of prisoners and end the suffering of their families with all parties.”
He pointed out that the Saudi regime has delayed the implementation of local prisoner exchange deals, and this year is the least accomplished among the past years.
