The Minister of Transport confirms the readiness of Hodeidah , Saleef and Ras Issa porte to receive all types of container ships

The Minister of Transport, Abd al-Wahhab Yahya al-Durra, confirmed the readiness of the port of Hodeidah to receive all types of container ships, including the port of Salif, as well as the port of Ras Issa, which completed the unloading of the oil derivatives ship today.

Minister Al-Durra indicated, in a meeting held at the Red Sea Ports Corporation in Hodeidah, today, Saturday, that included the governor, Muhammad Ayash Qahim, the first deputy governor of the governorate, Ahmed Al-Bishri, and the CEO of the Corporation, Muhammad Ishaq, to the importance of restoring the activity and the navigational movement of the port.

He praised the efforts of the Red Sea Ports Corporation to receive ships, facilitate procedures, and provide exemptions for berth rental fees for 21 days, and the Economic Committee’s provision of an exemption of 49 percent of the customs of goods and commodities imported to the port of Hodeidah.
