Ministry of Guidance condemns Saudi regime’s continued politicization of Hajj
Ministry of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs in the Sanaa government condemned on Monday the Saudi regime’s continued politicization of Hajj and the prevention of dealing with the official authority in Yemen represented by the Ministry of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs since the year 1436 AH.
In a statement issued, the ministry called for alleviating the suffering of Yemeni pilgrims and Umrah performers as a result of the closure of Sanaa airport and land crossings, with the exception of the border Al-Wadiah crossing, which is insufficient, in addition to the irresponsible and unfair treatment by the Saudi-led coalition forces.
The statement renewed the ministry’s condemnation of the attempts of the coalition forces in Aden and Riyadh to manipulate the quotas of Yemeni pilgrims in favor of their agencies, which they recently established, in violation of the system they have been dealing with for a long time.
The ministry called for dealing with the official body that expresses the Yemeni people, away from politicization of religious rituals.
