The Security and Intelligence Service reveals several cells that are active in counterfeiting , trading in medicines

Today, the Security and Intelligence Service revealed several cells active in counterfeiting and trading in medicines in the capital, Sana’a.

A security source told Al-Masirah TV that the operation came after investigation, follow-up and collection of information about the members of these cells, the nature of their activities and the collaborators in conducting their activities.

It pointed out that the security and field intelligence teams, in coordination with the Public Prosecution office, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Supreme Medicines Authority, raided dens of counterfeiting, manufacturing and storing medicines in various illegal ways.

The source added that the operation resulted in the arrest of about 27 suspects who are active in counterfeiting, smuggling and tampering with pharmaceutical compounds.
