Civilian death toll from Sudan clashes rises to 387
The Sudan Doctors Syndicate said on Friday that the number of civilian deaths has risen to 387, and 1,928 wounded since the start of the clashes.
The Syndicate noted in its 14th report since the commencement of the conflicts that there are many injuries and deaths that are not included in its inventory, and that it was unable to access hospitals owing to the difficulty of transportation and the security situation in the nation.
It reported that there were many deaths and injuries in the recent fighting in the city of El Geneina, where it reached 74 deaths from April 24–25, while the syndicate has not yet obtained an inventory for the days of April 26–27, and there is no limit to the number of injuries, and all hospitals in the city are out of service.
