At a cost of 3 billion and 600 million riyals, Zakat Authority launches Al-Adha Eid projects for the families of martyrs and missing persons

Today, Tuesday, the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs’ Families in partnership with the General Authority for Zakat launched Al-Adha Eid projects for all families of martyrs and missing persons in all governorates with a total of three billion and 600 million riyals.

Al-Adha Eid projects included quarterly subsistence for all families of martyrs and missing persons at a cost of one billion and 946 million riyals, sponsorship for 55 thousand and 64 children of martyrs and missing persons at a cost of one billion and 105 million riyals, and Eid for 57 thousand and 181 children of martyrs and missing persons at a cost of 571 million and 810 thousand riyals.

At the inauguration, the Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development, Mr. Hussein Maqbouli, stressed the importance of the projects dedicated to the families and sons of the great martyrs and the missing, who shed their pure blood on the nation’s wealth in defense of the land, honor, dignity and sovereignty.

He pointed out that the launch of the two bodies for caring for the families of martyrs and zakat, three of the important projects at the level of the Republic, aims to help them provide the requirements of Eid in the context of official interest in this segment of society dear to the hearts of the Yemeni people.
