Yemeni expatriate shot dead in New York, USA

A Yemeni expatriate was killed, on Sunday, by gunfire in the US state of New York, amid the escalation of crimes targeting and killing Yemeni expatriates in various US states during the past months at the hands of criminal gangs, after they claimed the lives of dozens of members of the community amid the indolence and complicity of the US authorities regarding these crimes, which are increasing in an alarming and terrifying way.

Media outlets said: The Yemeni expatriate, “Hamoud Ali Al-Saidi,” was shot dead by an armed man in the US state of New York, and that the gunman belonging to a gang in America fired randomly in the “Queens” area of New York City ,as a result the expatriate al-Saydi was killed and 4 others were wounded.

This crime comes a few days after the killing of another Yemeni expatriate in an armed robbery inside his store in Mississippi, where the Yemeni Community Association in the United States of America has monitored, during the past months, an escalation of systematic and organized crimes targeting Yemeni immigrants and expatriates, amid calls for an investigation into these crimes and revealing them to the public.
