Insan Organization strongly condemns the heinous crime of torture against the citize

Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms condemned with the strongest terms the heinous crime of torture against citizen Muhammad Hassan Abdo Mahdi (50 years old) at the hands of gunmen affiliated with the militia of the “Transitional Council” in Abyan governorate.

In a statement issued today, the organization held the leadership of the Transitional Council and the security and judicial apparatus in the southern governorates fully responsible,calling for the speedy arrest of the perpetrators and handing them over to justice, and calling on humanitarian and human rights organizations and United Nations bodies, foremost among them the Human Rights Council, to take a serious stance to prevent a series of criminal killings against identity against innocent Yemenis.

Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms also called for the formation of a committee to investigate all crimes committed by the armed individuals of the UAE-backed “Transitional Council”.
