Sons of Hodeidah: The revival of Ashura is an affirmation of continuing the approach of Al-Hussain “peace be upon him”

Thousands of people from Hodeidah governorate gathered this Friday afternoon in a mass march on Al-Mina Street in the square of Hodeidah city, to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Al-Hussain, peace be upon him, 1445 AH, under the slogan “Humiliating is impossible from us”

During the march, the participants carried banners expressing the tragedy of Karbala and the grievance of the Yemeni people for more than 8 years, which is similar to the grievances of Al-Hussein and the family of the Prophet’s family, stressing that they will not back down in the face of tyranny represented by the forces of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression.

They also raised slogans condemning the crime of burning copies of the Holy Qur’an in Sweden and a number of Western countries, their adherence to the Book of God Almighty and their rejection of provocations to the feelings of Muslims, and they chanted victory for the Holy Qur’an, religion, belief and identity.

The participants, who flocked from the governorate directorates to commemorate the anniversary, reflected the revolutionary spirit and the specificity of cohesion and unity of ranks, stressing that the Yemeni people will continue to adhere to their religious identity and their affiliation with Islam, as an embodiment of the words of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family.
