Ali al-Qahoum: The massive American presence in Bab al-Mandab threatens international navigation

A member of Ansarollah Political Council, Ali Al-Qahoum, confirmed today, Tuesday that the intense American presence in the strategic Bab al-Mandab and off the coast of Yemen threatens international navigation and violates international norms and laws.

Ali Al-Qahoum explained in a post on the “X” platform that we are closely monitoring the continuous flow of American forces and warships off the Yemeni coast, the strategic Bab al-Mandab and the islands, with the temporary positioning in some military bases in Al-Anad, Khor Amira, Hadramout, Al-Mahra, Socotra and Mayon in continuous hostile action and satanic plots targeting Yemen and the entire region.

Al-Qahoum explained that Yemen is always present in protecting maritime and international navigation and is committed to international law, which gives it the right to do so without external and Western interference.

He added that Yemen is present in the field and has a long history in combating terrorism and it is concerned primarily as an independent country with its independence and sovereignty in protecting navigation and combating terrorism.

Al-Qahoum stressed that the unjustified American military presence represents a danger to the region in the first place and threatens international and regional security and represents a flagrant violation of international norms and laws, especially as there is a change in the international and regional climate, breaking the unipolarity and multipolarity, and ending the colonial control of the West in the countries of the African Horn and other regions.
