The Ministry of Human Rights holds the mercenary authorities in Marib responsible for the lives of the detainees

The Ministry of Human Rights confirmed that it had received a communication from the family of the citizen, Yassin Muhammad Muhammad al-Mutawakel, who was arrested while traveling to the city of Marib to buy a car in early May 2021.

The Ministry of Human Rights stated in a statement that the aggression militia in Marib refuses to release Yassin al-Mutawakkil, along with hundreds of abductees, while practicing various types of psychological and physical torture against them.

It indicated that the detainee had contracted pulmonary tuberculosis and his health had deteriorated as a result of torture, neglect and malnutrition, and he was prevented from visits and bringing food and medicine to him.

It emphasized that the so-called Political Security prison administration punishes those who demand treatment from the abductees by chaining them and depriving them of exposure to the sun, which caused the spread of skin diseases among them.
