Field supervision seizes clothes with phrases and slogans that contradict the values of society

The field monitoring teams affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and its offices in Amanat Al-Asimah and Dhamar governorate seized quantities of clothing bearing phrases and slogans that violate the Islamic religion and the morals of Yemeni society.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the Internal Trade Sector, Muhammad Qatran, explained that the field control teams carried out field visits based on reports from citizens and the directives of the Minister of Industry and Trade, Muhammad Sharaf Al-Mutahhar, and seized quantities of clothes bearing slogans and indecent expressions.

He pointed out that the ministry has found the importer of those clothes and is in the process of completing the procedures to refer the case file to the competent authorities.

He stressed that the ministry will not tolerate such violations, which represent one aspect of the soft war that attempts to harm the morals and identity of our society.

Undersecretary Qatran indicated that the ministry, within the framework of its legal duties in consumer protection, will withdraw import permits from anyone who proves intentionally bringing in clothes and goods bearing slogans symbolizing Zionism or homosexuality and everything that harms religious, moral and national constants.
