Shabwa Governor calls for expulsion of US, coalition forces from Yemen’s southern, eastern provinces

Awad Mohammed bin Farid Al-Awlaqi, Governor of Shabwa province, called on the people of the occupied southern governorates to alarm and confront the occupation forces, accusing the mercenaries of implementing the agendas of the occupiers and invaders in the southern and eastern governorates.

Governor Al-Awlaki confirmed, in a statement to the Yemen News Agency (SABA),  that the British-American intervention in southern Yemen and the deployment of the US Marines in Ghail Bawazir and the city of Seiyun in Hadramout are a dangerous development, reflecting the efforts of America and Britain to directly control the southern governorates.

He pointed out that the foreign presence and military bases in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Al-Mahra, Socotra and Hadramawt reveal the objectives of America and Britain, which are working to prolong the aggression and blockade, and undermine regional and international efforts aimed at establishing peace in Yemen.

Al-Awlaki also called on the people of the southern governorates to triumph for their honorable history to confront the new occupation, which forgot that Yemen was, is and will remain the graveyard for invaders and colonizers.

He pointed out that Yemen will remain free and independent, under the leadership of Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the invaders and colonizers will be driven out from every inch of Yemen’s land.
