Human losses among American forces as a result of targeting  “Ain al-Assad” base in Iraq

 An Iraqi security source announced on Sunday that human casualties had been recorded among American forces as a result of three attacks targeting Ain al-Asad base within two days.

The source said in a statement to the Iraqi “Al-Ma’louma” Agency: “The human losses incurred by the American forces as a result of targeting Ain Al-Asad air base in Baghdadi district of Hit district, west of Anbar, with three attacks via drones and missiles amounting to the killing of two soldiers and a foreign contractor, in addition to the wounding of six other soldiers.”

It added: “The attack on Ain al-Assad base caused the destruction of one of the observation towers, in addition to causing material damage to one of the aircraft runways and setting fire to a military barracks for the American forces in the base building during the last attack.”
