Local, international reports indicate that the situation in Gaza is getting worse day by day, especially since the specter of famine is looming over the Strip, especially in the northern regions.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that two infants died as a result of dehydration and malnutrition in Kamal Adwan Hospital.
The Ministry confirmed that deaths and serious cases have begun to be observed among infants as a result of drought and malnutrition in the northern Gaza Strip, which is suffering from a severe food and medicine crisis.
The Ministry warned, in a brief statement, that drought and malnutrition would claim the lives of thousands of children and pregnant women in the Gaza Strip.
International institutions called for conducting a comprehensive medical survey in shelters to monitor and treat those suffering from dehydration and malnutrition and prevent a humanitarian catastrophe.
They added: UN institutions have moral and functional responsibilities to protect children and women and provide all means of survival from the famine that strikes the Gaza Strip.
