Euro-Med: We document crimes of deliberately running over dozens of Palestinians while they were alive

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory said that Israeli enemy tanks deliberately ran over alive dozens of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The Observatory indicated in a statement today, Sunday, that the Israeli enemy army had documented the killing of a young Palestinian man who was deliberately run over in “Zaytoun” neighborhood in Gaza City on February 29, after arresting him and tying his hands with plastic handcuffs.

The Observatory added: “We previously documented a similar incident when an Israeli tank ran over a shelter caravan in “Tayba Towers” area in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, on January 23, in which members of the “Ghannam” family were staying while they were sleeping, which led to the death of a person and his eldest daughter. His three remaining children and his wife were injured.”

He continued: “On December 16, 2023, we documented the Israeli tanks and bulldozers running over the displaced people inside their tents in the yard of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, which led to the death of a number of them, including the wounded, in addition to crushing the bodies of martyrs that were buried in graves next to the square.”

He added that on February 20, a Palestinian family survived after the tracks of an Israeli tank ran over the tent in which they lived on the shore of the Khan Yunis Sea during a surprise operation carried out by Israeli forces.
