The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Palestine announced that humanitarian convoys were unable to deliver fuel to hospitals in the Gaza Strip due to obstacles from the Israeli enemy.

The organization’s official account on “X” website wrote a tweet in which it announced that two-thirds of the coordinated humanitarian missions in Gaza today faced obstacles or delays by the Israeli authorities, and on average, each mission faced a delay of five hours before it was allowed to proceed.

As a result, vital supplies, equipment and fuel for backup generators were not delivered to hospitals, the office added.

Earlier, the head of the government media office in Gaza, Salama Marouf, confirmed that preventing the entry of cooking gas and fuel into the Strip threatens to exacerbate the humanitarian crisis.
