The American ABC network reported that the administration of President Joe Biden sent a letter from US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson, stating the continuation of providing US military aid to three Israeli battalions that committed serious human rights violations against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank.

The network, which obtained a copy of the letter, explained that this decision indicates the Biden administration’s retreat from imposing sanctions on the “Netzah Yehuda” battalion of the occupation army, which it announced at the beginning of this week, due to it committing grave violations against human rights in the West Bank, according to the American expression.

ABC indicated that Blinken wrote that the American decision “will not delay the delivery of any American aid, and Israel will be able to obtain the full amount allocated by Congress.”

The network pointed out that this decision may anger critics of the Biden administration who say that not enough is being done to hold the enemy accountable for its crimes in Gaza, which have pushed the civilian population towards famine.
