President Al-Mashat offers his condolences on the death of the Iranian President and his accompanying delegation

His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, sent a message of condolences on the martyrdom of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, and his accompanying delegation, following the crash of the helicopter they were carrying in the East Azerbaijan Province, northwest of Iran.

President Al-Mashat said in the telegram: “With feelings of faith, satisfaction, and submission to God Almighty, we extend to the Islamic Republic of Iran and its wise leadership, represented by Sayyed Ali Khamenei, may God protect him, and the great Iranian people, with our sincere condolences and sympathy for the painful loss of the martyrdom of sayyed Ibrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic, and his companions in the helicopter accident.”

President Al-Mashat affirmed his support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and full confidence in its ability to be patient and overcome difficulties.

He added, “The martyr Sayyed. Ibrahim Raisi was an example of a brave Muslim leader loyal to the nation’s issues and keen to achieve its aspirations for pride, dignity, construction and progress.

His positions on the nation’s issues were clear, strong and courageous, especially his standing by the Palestinian people and their just cause, and he was keen to unite the nation” ,unify their positions and bridge the gaps between them.

His Excellency the President pointed out that the martyr Sayyed. Ibrahim Raisi represented his people in international and regional forums with all ability, and took a firm stance against the American and Israeli arrogance against the peoples of the nation, stressing that the passing of the martyr Sayyed. Ibrahim Raisi is a great loss for all the peoples of the Islamic nation.
