Hundreds of Japanese demonstrated, on Saturday, in front of the headquarters of the United States Embassy in the capital, Tokyo, in support of the Palestinian people and in rejection of Washington’s support for the Israeli enemy in its brutal aggression against the Gaza Strip.
The participants in the demonstration, which was launched under the title “Action in front of the American Embassy, emergency action, peace for Palestine,” raised Palestinian flags, and many of them wore keffiyehs.
They protested against the United States continuing to supply the Israeli enemy with weapons that kill the Palestinian people in both the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
The demonstrators stressed that the United States brought shame upon itself because it stood by the Israeli enemy and its extremist government led by Benjamin Netanyahu, which is waging a genocidal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza for the eighth month in a row.
The security personnel allowed four pro-Palestine demonstrators to approach the gate of the American embassy.
They chanted against the policies of the United States regarding the bloody war on the Gaza Strip, and they also read statements condemning Washington’s involvement in genocide against Palestinian civilians.
The demonstrators raised banners with slogans in support of the Palestinian people and denouncing the continuing Israeli aggression and full American support for “Israel.”
