Israel Justifies Yemeni Drone Strike on Tel Aviv Due to ‘Human Erro’
Quoting from Al-Masirah website, after the Yemeni Armed Forces announced a drone operation using an advanced and radar-evading unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), dubbed “Yafa,” to strike Tel Aviv, the Israeli radio claimed that preliminary investigations into the “Yafa” operation indicated that the drone was detected but not intercepted or classified as a threat due to “human error.”
Israel admitted that the drone fell and exploded on a building in “Tel Aviv,” not in the air as previously claimed.
It acknowledged that the drone was large and had flown at a low altitude for hours before exploding in “Tel Aviv.”
The Israeli enemy announced increased air patrols to enhance protection, with enemy radio reporting that six fighter jets would fly over “Israel” every 15 minutes to guard the borders and counter drone threats.
On Friday morning, Yemeni Armed Forces announced an operation against Tel Aviv as a powerful explosion hit an area near a US consular facility amid the failure of Israeli air defenses to intercept the drone.
The blast occurred in the city’s Ben Yehuda Street on Friday, Israeli media outlets reported.
Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that the country employed for the first time an advanced and radar-evading unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), dubbed “Yafa,” to strike Tel Aviv.
Sare’e described the operation as successful, noting that it had accomplished the desired objectives.
