The Yemeni Airlines Administration in Sana’a announced the opening of civilian flights to Cairo and India via Sana’a International Airport starting this evening.
Yemen Airlines explained in a statement that flights from Sana’a to Cairo and back have been scheduled at a rate of one flight per day.
The statement stated that the Sana’a-India destination and the return have been scheduled at a rate of two flights per week, indicating that the opening of the Cairo and India destinations is in implementation of the agreement that was recently reached between Sana’a and Riyadh.
It called on citizens wishing to travel to Cairo and India to go to book through Yemeni offices and travel agencies in Sana’a starting today.
The statement confirmed that flights to Cairo and India via Sana’a International Airport will start this evening.
The airlines appreciated the sincere national efforts made by the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to operate flights and open new destinations via Sana’a International Airport.
