The US Department of Defense, the Pentagon, announced the dispatch of a new aircraft carrier to the Middle East to replace the aircraft carrier “Roosevelt”, which had arrived in the region three weeks ago.

The US announcement of replacing Roosevelt came after it was unable to approach the Yemeni operations area and remained hidden away from Yemeni waters.

It was scheduled to replace the aircraft carrier “Eisenhower”, which left its place in the Red Sea and departed after being subjected to a series of Yemeni attacks.

The Pentagon’s deputy spokesperson said that US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered the aircraft carrier group (Abraham Lincoln) to replace the aircraft carrier group (Theodore Roosevelt).

In response to a question from a reporter about the absence of American destroyers in the Red Sea, Singh said that “the absence of an American ship in the Red Sea does not mean that there are no other coalition ships, as part of Operation Sentinel.”

American reports indicate that the carrier (Abraham Lincoln) may take weeks to reach the region, and until then.
