UNRWA: Malnutrition cases among children in northern Gaza increase by 300%

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) revealed, on Thursday, an increase in malnutrition cases discovered among children in northern Gaza.

The agency said in a post on its official account on its “X” platform that the increase came by more than 300 percent in July, compared to May.

It indicated that “96 percent of Gaza’s population lives at different levels of hunger crisis.”

It explained that “Gaza needs more aid and a ceasefire.”
