European condemnations of Israeli arrogance in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, said that “the military operation carried out by Israel in the occupied West Bank should not constitute a basis for expanding the war in Gaza.”

In a post on X platform yesterday, Wednesday, Borrell warned “Israel” against expanding the scope of the attacks it carries out in the Gaza Strip to the West Bank.

He explained that the statements of the occupation’s Foreign Minister “Israel Katz”, who stated that his government would transfer its practices in Gaza to the West Bank, threaten further stability in the region.

For her part, Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib stressed the need to stop the Israeli military operation in the West Bank.

She said in a post on X platform: “Israel must comply with its obligations under international law, including humanitarian law in the occupied territories. The only lasting peaceful solution is the two-state solution.”

At dawn yesterday, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation army launched a military operation in the northern West Bank, the largest since 2002, which resulted in the martyrdom of 16 Palestinians and the injury of 22 others.

In conjunction with its war on Gaza since October 7, the occupation army escalated its attacks in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, killing 662 Palestinians, including 150 children, and injuring more than 5,400 and arresting more than 10,000, according to official Palestinian data.

With American support, “Israel” is waging a war on Gaza that has left more than 134,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.
