President Al-Mashat receives Iran’s ambassador credentials to Yemen

The President of the Supreme Political Council (SPC) Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat received on Sunday the credentials of Ali Mohammed Rezaei, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Yemen.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and means of enhancing and developing them to serve the common interests of the two brotherly countries.

The President welcomed the Iranian ambassador, wishing him a pleasant stay and success in his duties, stressing that the concerned agencies will provide him with all facilities to perform his duties.

The Iranian ambassador conveyed to President Mahdi Al-Mashat the greetings of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Bazeshkian, and his wishes for good health , progress and prosperity for the Yemenis.

The Iranian ambassador was accorded the usual ceremonies on this occasion in the capital Sana’a.

The ceremony was attended by Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister Jamal Amer, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic Hassan Sharaf al-Din, and Head of the Department of Protocol and Honors Osama al-Shami.
