Large numbers of Jordanians, on Tuesday afternoon, bid farewell to the Jordanian martyr, Maher Al-Jazi, the perpetrator of “Al-Karamah crossing” operation, in which 3 Israeli soldiers were killed.
Large crowds performed the funeral prayer for Al-Jazi, before he was carried on shoulders wrapped in the Jordanian flag, to be buried in his hometown in the Husseiniya of Ma’an Governorate.
The family of Maher Al-Jazi Al-Huwaitat received his body from the Jordanian authorities this morning, after the “Zionist enemy” had detained him for 8 days.
Al-Jazi had carried out the shooting operation that resulted in the killing of 3 Zionist soldiers, at Al-Karamah border bridge between Jordan and the occupied West Bank, on September 8.
Following the heroic operation, the Jordanian Huwaitat tribe, to which the martyr belongs, issued a statement, confirming that the operation was a “natural reaction” to the ongoing crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people.
Huwaitat tribe stressed that the blood of their martyred son “is not more precious than the blood of our Palestinian people,” affirming that “he will not be the last martyr.”
