Iranian army announces martyrdom of two soldiers while confronting Israeli attack

The Iranian army announced today, Saturday, the martyrdom of two of its soldiers while confronting the Israeli aggression that targeted Iran at dawn today.

The Iranian army said in a statement: “Two of our soldiers were martyred while confronting the criminal Zionist attack.”

For its part, the Iranian Tasnim News Agency said: “The Iranian army announces the killing of two of its fighters in the Israeli attacks last night.”

The Israeli enemy army launched a series of airstrikes on Iran at dawn today, Saturday, and explosions were heard in the capital, Tehran, without any information about damage or injuries.

The enemy army announced that it had attacked military targets “directly” and completely in the Islamic Republic, and that the response had ended.

The military spokesman for the enemy army said, “The attack was carried out under the direction of the political level in response to the Iranian regime’s attacks against Israel and its citizens.” According to him.

For its part, Iranian media confirmed that air defenses succeeded in shooting down hostile targets against military bases in southern and western Tehran province, not in the capital. Air defenses also confronted hostile targets in eastern Tehran province as well.

Iranian Tasnim News Agency reported, citing an informed source, that the enemy army’s claim of targeting 20 sites in Iran is not true and the targets are much less than that.
It added that the attack was carried out from outside Iranian borders and caused limited damage, and that no military center of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Tehran was targeted
