Hezbollah Drones Force Israeli Enemy to Change Cabinet Meeting Location

The Israeli cabinet will not meet in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office or the occupation army’s headquarters over security concerns related to Hezbollah drone attack on the Israeli premier’s private residence in Caesarea earlier this month, Hebrew-language media reported.

The Kan public broadcaster said the new protocol was already in effect for today.

The Ynet news site reported that the meetings are being moved due to attempted attacks on politicians and symbolic government sites, while the Walla news site said the decision was made in response to the drone attack on Netanyahu’s private residence in Caesarea earlier this month.

Ynet added that ministerial advisers will not be permitted to attend the cabinet meeting today.

According to the Israeli news site, Israeli ministers were surprised to receive a message this morning informing them that the location for the cabinet meeting has moved and that the new location does not have parking available or a waiting area for aides.

Ministers were told that if they arrive armed, they will not be permitted to enter the building with a weapon, the outlet reports.

Ynet says that despite the security threats, the meeting is not being held at the newly built underground bunker outside occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Hezbollah staged on October 19 a drone strike that targeted Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea.
