Lebanese Health: 2822 martyrs and 12937 wounded since the start of the Israeli aggression

The Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon announced the daily report on the outcome and repercussions of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
The report noted that “the Israeli enemy’s raids yesterday, Tuesday, October 29, 2024, resulted in 30 martyrs and 165 wounded,” and continued, “The total number of martyrs and wounded since the start of the aggression until yesterday (Tuesday) reached 2822 martyrs and 12937 wounded.”
For his part, the coordinator of the government emergency committee and Minister of Environment in the Lebanese caretaker government, Nasser Yassin, distributed report No. 32 on the Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
The report said, “During the past 24 hours, 101 airstrikes were recorded on different areas of Lebanon, most of them in the south, Nabatieh and Baalbek, bringing the total number of attacks since the beginning of the aggression to 11,579 attacks,” noting that “the Ministry of Health issued the death toll and the wounded during the past 24 hours, where 28 martyrs and 165 wounded were recorded, bringing the total number since the beginning of the events to 2,820 martyrs and 12,937 wounded.”
The report added that “based on reports issued by the Ministry of Health until 10/28/2024, 172 martyrs and 233 injured health sector workers were recorded, in addition to damage to 39 hospitals, 80 medical and emergency centers, and
242 vehicles.”
It continued, “To date, 1,120 centers have been opened to receive the displaced, of which 949 centers have reached their maximum capacity.”
It explained that “the total number of registered displaced persons has reached 188,217 displaced persons (43,759 families) in shelter centers, where the highest percentage of displaced persons was recorded in Mount Lebanon Governorate and Beirut, but it is estimated that the number of displaced persons is much higher.”
The report indicated that “all security agencies are maintaining security, contributing to help the displaced, distributing food and fuel, protecting shelters, preventing monopoly operations, monitoring prices, and controlling borders.”
It continued, “From September 23 to October 29, 2024, the General Security recorded the crossing of 356,646 Syrian citizens and 169,702 Lebanese citizens into Syrian territory.”
It added, “The government emergency committee is responsible for receiving international aid and distributing it to the displaced within a clear and transparent mechanism across the governorates.”
