The UN Rapporteur on human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, confirmed that: “What is happening in the Gaza Strip in terms of systematic starvation with the aim of destruction is not a war, but rather should be called “genocide.”
Albanese shared, on her account on the X platform, a UN report stating that the Zionist entity allowed only 30 aid trucks per day to enter the Gaza Strip last month.
She pointed out that there are several means by which the Zionist entity destroys the Palestinians and stressed that: “The most cruel and complex of them is creating unsustainable and inhumane living conditions.”
Albanese continued by saying: “Don’t call this a war.. It is genocide.. The intention to destroy is clear, and the complicity of other countries is also clear.”
It was also noteworthy that the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said on Monday that: “Israel reduced the number of aid trucks allowed to enter the Gaza Strip to only 30 trucks per day during last October.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the Zionist occupation authorities have closed the crossings to the Strip, prevented the entry of goods and basic commodities, and imposed restrictions on the entry of humanitarian and relief aid. Sometimes, they prevent its arrival to the Strip, causing a major living crisis.
