The Israeli enemy forces continue to commit the crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip, for the 397th consecutive day, by launching dozens of air strikes and artillery shelling, while committing massacres against civilians, amid a catastrophic humanitarian situation as a result of the siege and displacement.

For the 33rd consecutive day, the northern Gaza Strip, and Jabalia camp and Beit Lahia in particular, are suffering under an Israeli siege and starvation amid violent air and artillery shelling, and the complete isolation of the northern governorate from Gaza.

The enemy forces continue for the 15th day to forcibly disrupt the work of civil defense in the areas of the northern Gaza Strip due to the ongoing Israeli targeting and aggression, and thousands of Palestinians are now without humanitarian and medical care.

Sources reported that the enemy forces shelled with artillery, in conjunction with gunfire from enemy vehicles and drones, in Jabalia camp, Al-Saftawi area, the vicinity of Abu Sharkh roundabout, and west of Beit Lahia.

The enemy “army” continues to blow up buildings and residential blocks in Al-Saftawi area, Jabalia camp, and Beit Lahia town, and the sounds of huge explosions are heard in Gaza City.

In the central Gaza Strip, our correspondent reported that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the north of Al-Bureij and Al-Nuseirat. Local sources said that 6 people were injured, including 2 women and 3 children, as a result of drones bombing a house in Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

In another targeting, 8 Palestinians were injured, including 2 women, 5 children, and a man, as a result of bombing a house in “Block C” in Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Two women were killed and others were injured as a result of the Israeli enemy forces’ bombing at dawn today of a house in the town of Al-Fakhari, southeast of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Rescue teams are still searching for missing people under the rubble of the destroyed house in an attempt to find survivors among the rubble.

More than 85 thousand tons of bombs dropped by the enemy on the Gaza Strip For its part, the Palestinian “Environmental Quality Authority” said that the enemy “army” dropped more than 85 thousand tons of bombs on the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023, which exceeds what was dropped in World War II.

It added in a statement issued today, Wednesday, on the occasion of the International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Military Conflict, that “the continuous occupation bombing of the Gaza Strip has caused the destruction of vast areas of agricultural land and polluted the soil with toxic chemicals that have hindered agriculture for decades.”

The Environment Quality Authority pointed out that the enemy used in its ongoing aggression all types of weapons and shells, most notably white phosphorus, which is prohibited by international law under the United Nations Convention on Conventional Weapons, which targets environmental components, causing serious environmental damage that threatens human life and living organisms.

It pointed out that the damage to the water resources infrastructure led to the leakage of polluted water into groundwater basins, which threatens a health and environmental disaster that threatens hundreds of thousands of residents for generations to come.
