SPEECH BY AL-SAYYID ABDUL MALIK BADRUDDIN AL-HOUTHI (MAY ALLAH PROTECT HIM) ON THE LATEST WEEKLY DEVELOPMENTS
Thursday, the 5th of Jumada Al-Awwal 1446 A.H. (the 7th of November 2024 A.D.)
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad’s good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
For the second month of the second year, the brutal and criminal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip continues, with the Israeli enemy committing acts of genocide through killing and starvation, targeting all aspects of life.
This week, the criminal Israeli enemy has committed over thirty bloody massacres, resulting in the killing and wounding of more than 1,300 Palestinians, most of whom were children and women. For over a month, Israel has continued to intensify its large-scale attacks and horrific massacres in northern Gaza, with estimates indicating that more than 2,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 4,000 injured during this aggressive escalation. The Israeli enemy has blocked the entry of all food and medical supplies and imposed forced displacement on the residents of northern Gaza amid heavy bombardment, severe massacres, and starvation.
With extreme brutality, the Israeli enemy is using the most intense bombardments and means of mass destruction to kill as many civilians as possible and destroy as many buildings as possible. The situation in other parts of the Gaza Strip is not much different, as the enemy targets the population—most of whom are displaced—through airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, artillery shelling on shelters and camps, and starvation. In Khan Younis, for example, where there are nearly a million displaced people, there is only one bakery, and people are standing in lines that stretch as far as the eye can see just to get a single bundle of bread.
The Israeli enemy, which has failed in military confrontation and has been unable to achieve its declared objectives in its aggression against the Gaza Strip, has resorted from the beginning to brutal and criminal tactics of targeting civilians comprehensively. The majority of its victims are children and women.
On the military front, our fellow mujahidin in the Gaza Strip, are steadfast, resilient, and unwavering, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy in both personnel and equipment. They kill enemy officers and soldiers and destroy military vehicles and tanks. This week alone, the Al-Qassam Brigades have conducted about sixteen operations, including ambushes that inflicted severe damage on the enemy, direct confrontations with its soldiers that led to significant losses in their ranks, the destruction of tanks and vehicles, mortar shelling, and more.
Al-Quds Brigades have also carried out numerous operations, including missile attacks targeting the settlement of Sderot, alongside operations conducted by other factions fighting for the cause of Allah and standing side by side with the Al-Qassam Brigades.
Due to its failure in military confrontation and its inability to eliminate the resistance factions fighting for the cause of Allah and standing up to its aggression and crimes, the Israeli enemy relies on committing heinous crimes, including acts of genocide, and it even excels in all kinds of crimes.
However, as we have emphasised repeatedly, this does not constitute a military achievement, no matter the number of those children and women who have been martyred or the extent of destruction of civilian buildings. None of this could be regarded as a victory, and it remains in a state of clear and undeniable failure.
Despite the prolonged duration [of the aggression] and the magnitude of accumulated crimes, as we are now in the second month of the second year, and despite the fact that the acts of genocide committed by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people in Gaza are daily crimes occurring every day—the scenes of those crimes reported by media, especially on satellite channels and social media, are daily scenes. They are painful, bloody scenes that stir the human conscience of everyone who still possesses a sense of humanity, and stir a sense of religious responsibility in everyone who still possesses any shred of belief and a sense of belonging to Islam, which is the true divine religion. Unfortunately, despite this prolonged period that has seen the Israeli enemy accumulating tragedies and crimes on a daily basis, the Arab position, as well as that of most Islamic nations, remains mostly unchanged! Neither the terrible new crimes committed by the Israeli enemy, including the current escalation taking place in northern Gaza, nor the prolonged suffering and tragedy of the Palestinian people have helped or contributed to awakening the official Arab conscience on a humanitarian level or instilling a sense of religious responsibility or any motivation or incentive to act. This is very unfortunate and alarming, as well. It serves as a clear indication of the extent of human, moral, and faith-based bankruptcy among most Arab regimes and signifies the negative impact of the official position on the reality of many members of our Ummah’s peoples, who have accepted for themselves to be mere spectators and not to take any position at any level. This is deeply saddening!
In the official Arab reality, there has been no real action taken at the political, diplomatic, or humanitarian level or at any level to support the Palestinian people, let alone engaging in direct combat or confrontation with Israel, or with America and Israel. There is nothing at all, just statements that are even weak. The position remains unchanged toward our fellow mujahidin in Palestine; some ruling regimes continue to designate them as terrorists without any guilt other than their jihad for the sake of Allah in defence of the Palestinian people, Palestine, and its sanctities. They did nothing to those regimes; they did not target them in any way: neither militarily, nor politically, nor in the media, nor in any other way. They have never taken any position against those regimes. Rather, they have always been and continue to be keen to show a positive attitude towards them in their words, in their positions, in their media, and in their efforts to establish positive relations with all members of the Ummah, but to no avail!
Despite what the Israeli enemy has committed and is still committing of the daily horrific acts of genocide, the deliberate and aggressive killing of thousands of children and women, the starvation of millions of Palestinian people, and other violations, such as the desecration of sanctities, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque—none of this has prompted some Arab regimes, especially the prominent ones, to even designate the Israeli enemy as a terrorist entity— If only they did nothing but mere designation, even without following that up with any practical measures at the military or security level. Even at the level of designation, they did not act. Does this not illustrate their deviation and their connection to the Americans and Israelis themselves in the designation they announced? This is why they have not announced any designation against the Israeli enemy.
Even some Arab media outlets have not risen to the level of using appropriate and expected terms to describe the Israeli enemy’s crimes as crimes that are horrible or characterising the Israeli enemy as it should be characterised since it commits such crimes. Moreover, some Arab media outlets still support the Israeli enemy, openly and clearly serving it in a manner that is shameful and unprecedented, even when compared to past periods.
The current state of the Arab position, along with the broader Islamic position—though there are some exceptions—reminds us of the beginning of the tragedy experienced by the Palestinian people and how that tragedy began. This also brings to our attention a significant anniversary that passed this week: the anniversary of the Balfour Declaration. This declaration was made on November 2, a hundred and seven years ago. The infamous British Balfour Declaration (which promised to empower the Jews) made a commitment to enabling Zionist Jews to occupy Palestine and subsequently use it [Palestine] to establish their dream and achieve their goal that was clear from the beginning: the establishment of ‘Greater Israel’ across a large expanse of Arab lands. Following this commitment, known as the Balfour Declaration, Britain took practical steps to achieve it within the framework of its occupation of Palestine. It organised campaigns to bring Jews from various parts of the world to Palestine and recruited thousands of them into the British army. This aimed at training them militarily, supporting them to expand their influence within Palestine, gain control, and plunder (it prepared them to do so), and paving the way for them to then form their own criminal gangs, which Britain supported with weapons and by backing them militarily in their crimes and assaults against the Palestinian people and targeting any opposing free, effort of jihad by the Palestinians.
There are many important lessons to be learned from what happened in the beginning. When we first ask ourselves what motivated Britain at that time to take such an aggressive and criminal step targeting Arabs in their own lands, their freedom, and their rights, we wonder why it did this. Was there something committed by the Arabs that provoked Britain and led it to first occupy large parts of the Arab world and then commit that grave and terrible crime targeting an important part of Arab lands? That was just the beginning, setting the stage for further actions aimed at a wronged Muslim, Arab people and their land: Palestine, which belongs to the Palestinian people, an Arab and Islamic country that contains sanctities of immense importance to Muslims, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque and others. Was there something in the Arab reality that provoked and stirred Britain, making its actions a reaction to Arab provocations? This is an important matter [to consider]. That is because in the current stage, any movement of jihad and liberation against the enemies of the Ummah is described by detractors, proxies, and those lacking awareness as provocative. It is presented within the Ummah as the source of the problem that must be resolved in order for the Ummah to calm down and stabilise. The lessons of the first stage are extremely important, with many more lessons to follow.
On the contrary, at that stage, there was nothing in the Arab reality that could provoke Britain. In fact, before the British occupation of most Arab countries, many prominent Arab powers sought to establish friendly relations with Britain, collaborating with it, forming strong ties with it, and offering significant services for it. That was in return for British promises that the Arab powers would be enabled to dominate and govern the Arab arena. This is completely similar to the approach the Americans are following today with some Arab leaders and regimes. They offer them false hopes by promising to empower them to be the primary dominating and ruling power. Thus, Britain sold this illusion to some Arab countries at that time in exchange for collaboration.
Indeed, they collaborated with it and engaged in extensive relations with it, which paved the way for it to occupy many countries in the Arab world. Then, Britain broke its promises, exiled some of them, and ignored all the services they had provided. It astonishingly and harshly ignored its promises, blaming the Arabs for dealing with it foolishly.
British officers and leaders would tell those Arabs who stood by them and cooperated with them (during the time when those Arabs were demanding that they fulfil their promises) that they [the Arabs] were foolish and it was their own problem that they could believe them and their promises. However, who received the reward? It went to the Jews who were part of the Zionist movement, which pursued a Zionist project believed in and supported by certain powers in the West—specifically in Britain, America, and Europe. This project aimed to target the Islamic and Arab Ummah in every aspect: in its land, honour, religion, and worldly affairs. Therefore, Britain sought to bring Jews to the lands of Arabs and Muslims, specifically to Palestine. From the very beginning, Palestine was not the sole target; it was a starting point. That was because the Jews did not have the capacity to secure the necessary human momentum for their spread across vast areas of the Arab world from the first moment, so they chose Palestine to be the starting point. This became clear later on and remains evident today in various aspects: in their culture, curricula, policies, plans, statements, positions, and more. The influx of Jewish Zionists from around the world to Palestine—as we mentioned—occurred under British sponsorship, recruitment, training, preparation, empowerment, support, and assistance to name but a few.
Why did the Jews themselves take that aggressive step of targeting the Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic Ummah? Was there something specific at that time that provoked them from the side of the Arabs and Muslims?
On the contrary, when the Jews were still scattered, they lived in various countries in the Islamic world for centuries, under conditions that were very different from those in Western countries and communities. They lived in security, peace, and tranquillity, enjoying stable environments and suitable conditions for life. There was no persecution or injustice against them. Rather, some Islamic countries, at various points in Islamic history, treated them better than how they treated many Muslim citizens. How they were treated in the Islamic world is well-documented in Islamic history and in the histories of many states and governments that have existed throughout the history of Muslims. On the other hand, at every stage of the Ummah’s tragedies and calamities, they were the ones who conspired against Muslims, aligning themselves with any enemy targeting them. This is also well-known in history and documented in history books.
Although the Jews were subjected to severe persecution, harsh oppression, and profound humiliation in certain phases in Western countries, which is well-known in history—that was before they could influence Western culture and manipulate beliefs in a way that completely changed the perception towards them and before they could establish Zionism as a religious belief within European countries and America—they turned with intense hatred and severe animosity against Muslims to target them, beginning with the Palestinian people. What happened is that they oriented themselves within their project, which they formulated as a religious belief, and began moving forward based on it.
The majority of Western powers, rulers, and regimes share them the belief in that Zionist ideology that targets our Islamic Ummah and Arab lands: They seek to establish what they call ‘Greater Israel’, which is meant to stretch from the Nile to the Euphrates, encompassing most of the Arabian Peninsula, including Mecca and Al-Madinah, and then dominating the rest of the entire region, as the criminal Netanyahu has said—reshaping the Middle East entirely.
The next step would be seeking to strengthen their global influence in a way that enables them to realise their dream of establishing a global government through which they would rule the world, taking advantage of their control over Arab countries after eliminating Muslims and Arabs. This follows the example of the Europeans who went to America and completely annihilated the Red Indians, the original inhabitants of the land, whose numbers were estimated by some historical sources to be thirty million. Likewise, they [the Jews] have this hope of getting rid of Arabs through many means, exploiting them, and acting according to a phased programme. In each phase, they seek to achieve some results and accomplishments until they reach their grand goal.
Therefore, Britain embarked on this plan without provocation and without any opposing or hostile movement in most Arab countries, with only a few rare exceptions in areas they hadn’t reached. The remaining forces and regimes of Arab countries collaborated with them, coordinated with them, and were complicit with them; some of them colluded even regarding the situation in Palestine. At that time, some Arab regimes contributed to stopping the revolutionary jihadist action of the Palestinian people during crucial phases that could have had a significant value and impact on the situation there, and they worked in collaboration with Britain.
From the first phase, the Zionists acted with hatred and criminality, committing acts of genocide. They targeted the Palestinian people in villages and cities with the most horrific acts of genocide and killing. In some villages, they would gather people in the village mosque and then completely annihilate them! They killed some civilians in some villages with knives, daggers, and axes—even children and women. Their criminal behaviour began from day one, marked by extremely numerous crimes. Was the issue at that time an Iranian issue? Back then, Iran had no involvement in what was happening in the Arab region. Before the Islamic Revolution, Iran itself also suffered from British occupation and foreign control at certain stages and after that the rule of regimes loyal to America, Britain, and the West. Therefore, the issue was neither a reaction to Iran nor a position in support of Iran, and Iran had no nothing to do with that issue. The target from the beginning was the Arabs. The Islamic Revolution in Iran, out of its loyalty to Islam and to its values and principles upon which it was founded, took up the cause of supporting the Palestinian people as an Islamic duty, which is, indeed, its duty. Iran has continued on this basis, and this is a very significant positive aspect.
The fundamental factors that enabled the realisation of the Balfour Declaration and the success of Britain—there was support by the Americans. Historical sources confirm that the Americans, from that early phase, were among those who pushed Britain to achieve and do that and to take this aggressive step aimed at our Islamic Ummah in its Arab lands. What were the factors that empowered the enemies to do that? The first is the condition of the Ummah, and the second is the support of the infidel West—that is, Britain joined by the Americans, who later took the lead and were followed by Britain. The prominent role belonged to America and Britain, though there was cooperation from France, Germany, and other Western countries.
Allah (Glory be to Him) had scattered the Jews across the earth because of their criminal, deviant, aggressive, and wicked history, dispersing them into different nations. Therefore, they didn’t have a presence in a single country where they could establish an entity representing a source of strength for them. This was a mercy from Allah for His servants, given the great threat the Jews pose to human society. Their state of dispersion continued for hundreds or even thousands of years—a very long period, during which they remained fragmented and scattered.
So what made it possible for them to come together again in aggression to occupy a Muslim Arab country and with broader ambitions and goals that go beyond that and to target Muslim sanctities, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque?
Regarding the first factor, which poses threat and requires the attention of the Ummah, it is the state of the Ummah that has emboldened the enemies and paved the way before them. Referring to the Jews, Allah (Glory be to Him) said in the Holy Quran, {‘They have been stricken with humiliation’}[Ali ‘Imran 3:112]. {‘They have been stricken with humiliation wherever they are caught, except through a rope from Allah and a rope from the people’}[Ali ‘Imran 3:112]. {‘Wherever they are caught’} means that at any time and place, the state of humiliation has stricken them. This state shackles them from gaining influence and control because they pose a significant threat to humanity: This is part of Allah’s justice and mercy, as they (with their false and devilish beliefs and culture) harbour great hatred towards human society and have extremely enormous ambitions. And at the same time, they are devoid of human and moral values. We can clearly see their wickedness, hatred, aggression, criminality, evil, and threat: They are dark in their thoughts, criminal in their behaviour, and aggressive in their goals and policies. Indeed, this is why Allah (Glory be to Him) has protected the Ummah from their evil and shielded human society from much of their evil over the course of thousands of years due to the grave threat they pose to people with their wickedness, criminality, and hatred. Allah shackled and bound them with humiliation, so they were in a state of humiliation that kept them from undertaking military activity or showing military boldness for aggressive actions to kill or annihilate people.
{‘Except through a rope from Allah and a rope from the people’}—the exceptional condition in which they become able to boldly kill others, attack them, and wage war against them, is that condition: {‘except through a rope from Allah and a rope from the people’}[Ali ‘Imran 3:112]. In fact, the situation that arose is one that concerns the entire Islamic Ummah, with the Arabs at the forefront. What is the issue that occurred between the Arabs and Allah that there should be a rope from Allah granted to Britain to enable the Zionists to target this Ummah? This rope represents the rope of granting domination over the Ummah. It is the result of the Ummah’s neglect of its sacred responsibility and its great duty, given its affiliation with Islam and the divine message, which is the legacy of all the messengers and prophets.
In fact, Allah has honoured the Islamic Ummah, with the Arabs at the forefront, with Islam; it is not limited to religious rituals. They are part of it, but it also has a message. This Ummah bears a responsibility expressed by Allah in the Holy Quran when He said, {‘You are the best nation ever raised for mankind’}[Ali ‘Imran 3:110]. What duties and responsibilities must this Ummah fulfil to play its role as the best nation? And what makes it the best of nations? {‘You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah’} [Ali ‘Imran 3:110].
This Ummah is the one referred to by Allah when He said, {‘O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice’}[An-Nisa 4:135]. Allah has provided it with what qualifies it for that in terms of capabilities, geographical location, and resources. He has also given it a great source of guidance, which is the Holy Quran, and promised it victory, support, and care. Allah has guaranteed that He will stand by this Ummah if it rises to fulfil its responsibility so that it becomes the nation that leads the world within the framework of this sacred responsibility:
promoting good, confronting evil and evildoers, and striving to protect human societies from evil and evildoers;
commanding and establishing justice in life, confronting oppression and oppressors, preventing them from practising injustice, and striving to establish that all over the world; and
moving to forbid wrongdoing, falsehood, and corruption and seeking to promote, establish, and enjoin good in its broad scope that encompasses various fields.
The purpose of that is to save human society from the sources of evil, criminality, injustice, tyranny, and corruption. These forces are represented in the Holy Quran as ‘a group among the People of the Book’: the group of evil, criminality, and misguidance, the source of danger, the dark criminal group among the People of the Book. These are the Jews and those Christians who ally and move with them. Throughout history, they have stood with each other, as Allah says about them, {‘They are Auliya of each other’}[Al-Ma’idah 5:51]. They conspire against the people of this Ummah and target this sacred and great role, which is meant for the goodness of human societies.
When the Ummah neglected this sacred duty, it turned its attention to other matters, where personal and factional interests, along with whims, desires, and ambitions, became dominant among its people, resulting in a decline at the moral, intellectual, and cultural levels, as well as at the level of the Ummah’s goals and role. Indeed, it descended in every aspect. This decline continued until it reached rock bottom. Many among its people then began to beg for help from Britain, and some, at different stages of history, turned to other powers of disbelief, darkness, and falsehood to rely on them to achieve influence and pursue interests here or there or to resolve internal conflicts and issues with opponents within the Ummah. This led the Ummah to hit rock bottom and subjected it to divine punishment. It lost its might, strength, and role among nations and became an open arena for all the covetous from various disbeliever forces who began to compete for control over the Ummah: its lands, wealth, strategic location, vital sea routes, and other things. This is how things happened, and Britain, America, Western powers, and the Zionist project did what they did, taking advantage of that extremely adverse situation.
Therefore, our Ummah must strive earnestly to correct its situation. This is because when it gets itself out of the circle of divine punishment, turns to Allah (the Almighty) in trust, relies on Him, and seeks to fulfil its responsibilities, moving forward with sincere repentance and practical action, then Allah will grant it assistance, victory, and support and fulfils His true promise that never fails, just as He aided, supported, and granted victory to its early sons—those who set forth under the flag of Islam in its early days and then were granted great empowerment by Allah.
If the Ummah turns towards fulfilling its responsibilities and sincerely returns to Allah, that rope will end: {‘except through a rope from Allah’}[Ali ‘Imran 3:112]. If Allah severs that rope—the rope of divine punishment and infliction upon this Ummah—then the other rope, which comes from the people, will also be severed. When this Ummah moves, stands on its own, rises to its responsibilities, depends on its Lord (Allah), turns to Him in trust, and cleanses its arena from injustice and corruption, striving for its global and leading role and when it does so with sincerity and earnestly with Allah (the Almighty), Allah immediately grants it assistance, victory, support, and empowerment. At that point, many Western powers will find themselves in a position of helplessness, loss, surrender, and failure to achieve their goals within this Ummah. They will also see that the arena of this Ummah has become fortified, strong, and impenetrable and that it has adopted serious action. This is something significant.
As for going into a state of passivity and indifference and turning a blind eye to all events and their backgrounds, causes, and consequences, as some of the Ummah’s sons do, this can lead to significant losses for the Ummah. As for those mindful from among the sons of the Ummah who respond to Allah—those who move according to the sacred responsibility of the Ummah, rise to fulfil their duties, confront the enemies, and align themselves with faith and the Quran to gain Allah’s support and assistance—they will ultimately achieve results, no matter the burdens, hardships, and challenges, which stem primarily from the Ummah’s initial negligence.
Thus, the free people of the Islamic Ummah in this phase are moving forward from scratch. Starting from zero has led to immense burdens, difficulties, and hardships, but also invoked Allah’s care and support. We see this reflected in the resilience and effectiveness shown by our brothers in Palestine. Despite the extremely challenging circumstances, we still see how those who have responded to Allah attained divine support. This is even more evident in Lebanon and what we experienced in Yemen. This is also the case with those free sons of the Islamic Ummah across all countries who responded to Allah and acted according to His guidance and instructions.
The Jews do not have the ability to establish a cohesive, strong, and resilient entity, nor do they have rightful claims to support their aggressive position. This is why Britain initially brought them, followed by the Americans and the Western countries. Even the United Nations later recognised the Zionist enemy as a member state, equal to any other nation in its assembly. This clearly demonstrates that the United Nations does not operate on the basis of justice. Justice is absent under Western dominance, under the dominance of the tyrannical and arrogant forces of darkness. Indeed, justice is lost even for entire populations.
Our Islamic Ummah, in particular, has been fully targeted due to this lack of justice. Therefore, as we said last week, the Islamic Ummah is responsible for establishing and imposing justice in the world.
What does the United Nations actually do for you? It recognised the Israeli enemy, which is founded on usurpation, oppression, horrific crimes, killing of children and women, and forced displacement of millions [Palestinians] from their homes, as well as the usurpation of their homes, villages, cities, and lands. It recognised the Israeli enemy as a member state.
What have the international courts done? When have they ever taken meaningful action?
These institutions, established long after the Palestinian issue arose, have done nothing for Palestine; instead, they have clearly served the Israeli enemy.
Thus, the Western world, which many from our Islamic Ummah stupidly view as a beacon of freedom, civilisation, and rights (both human and animal rights), has supported this Israeli injustice and falsehood against our Islamic Ummah, against the Palestinian people, and against Lebanon when the Israeli enemy sought to occupy it, as well as against all our Arab countries that have been targeted by Israel: Syria, Jordan, and Egypt—all of them were targeted by the Israeli enemy, yet nothing was done for them.
From early on, the Americans, as we mentioned and as established in some historical sources, played a role in pushing Britain into taking such actions. Later, as Britain’s role diminished, the US took over, bearing the responsibility for this grave wrongdoing, becoming a key partner and primary supporter of the Israeli enemy, with continued British support and involvement. They all share the Israeli enemy in its belief in the Zionist project, driven by religious ideology, colonial ambitions, and longstanding hostility toward this Ummah, viewing the current state of the Arab world as a ripe opportunity, which has only increased their ambitions.
Therefore, the Americans in both the Republican and Democratic parties have continued—and will continue—to compete for decades in presidential elections and congressional elections to see who can provide more services to the Israeli enemy and the Zionist project. This is openly stated in their campaigns.
Moreover, it is a source of praise for each successive American president to have done more for the Israeli enemy and the Zionist project than their predecessor or any prior president. This is also quite evident. Therefore, the criminal Biden, during his presidency in America, was keen to provide military, political, economic, and media support to the Israeli enemy like no other president before him. He was keen to maintain this level of support and cooperation with the Israeli enemy and the Zionist project. He openly declared himself to be a Zionist, even proud of it! In other words, he was telling the Arabs that he believes in the Zionist project that targets their land, honour, countries, and wealth, as well as Meca, Al-Madina, Al-Quds. He declared that openly and clearly, which was something that received media coverage–there are videos that show him declaring that.
And here is Trump assuming power after the American elections that took place two days ago, on Tuesday. During his previous presidency, Trump himself was keen to achieve certain accomplishments for the Israeli enemy and boasted that he would do what no earlier American president had done. He recognised all of Al-Quds as the capital of the Israeli enemy, contradicting the formal political rhetoric that Americans pretend to uphold regarding the issue of Al-Quds and the two-state solution. He introduced the idea of Abu Dis and the so-called ‘Deal of the Century’ and then moved the American embassy to Al-Quds in line with his position and explicit recognition. He then announced his recognition of the occupied Syrian Golan as Israeli territory during an event attended by Arab officials and journalists. Full of sarcasm but sincere in his words, he stated that If Israel wanted additional Arab lands, he would be happy to give those lands to it. This reflects the American view; this is how Americans think.
O those Arab leaders who are racing to show loyalty to him, to obey him, and to build relationships with him, you should know that you hold no value in his eyes, no matter what you do or what you offer. He wants to milk you; he sees the wealthy among you as a milk cow, as he has openly declared, and views the poor as a miserable, wretched nation that deserves nothing but death, destruction, and ruin.
Trump also sought to tame some Arabs to serve the Israeli enemy under the guise of normalisation. He refers to this taming as ‘normalisation’, but in reality, it is about serving the interests of the Israeli enemy and America alone, nothing more and nothing less.
Due to what he presented at that time, Trump considered himself more serious than his predecessors in serving the Israeli enemy. He also thought that he would be able to make some of our Ummah’s ruling regimes to devote their resources of their people and countries to serve the Israeli enemy and introduced the so-called ‘Deal of the Century’, but he failed. Despite all his haughtiness, arrogance, carelessness, and tyranny, he failed. And just as he failed the first time, he will fail again during his four-year presidency. No matter the strife and hardships he may get our Ummah into through his proxies and collaborators, he will fail. The Palestinian cause is protected by the divine promise of the demise of the temporary entity and by the allies of Allah and His devoted, striving, sacrificing servants for the sake of Allah.
O sons of our Ummah, before you stands a magnificent example of steadfastness, resilience, and cohesion: You can see the example of the mujahidin in Gaza, who exemplify steadfastness, dedication, and valour.
You can see the great spirit of jihad and liberation present in the Palestinian people, as demonstrated by their operations in the West Bank and the operations carried out by the heroes of Palestine in other Palestinian areas, such as the heroic ramming operations against the Zionist enemies, including the one that took place last week in an important area targeting an Israeli espionage nest in occupied Jaffa.
Another great example that stands for tight with great steadfastness is Hezbollah in Lebanon, which represents a front of direct confrontation with the Israeli enemy. It emerged when the Israeli enemy believed it had established military and political control over Lebanon. During those difficult circumstances and that very tough phase, Hezbollah emerged and kept growing and achieving major achievements, culminating in the liberation of 2000 and the steadfast resistance that led to a great victory in 2006 and extending to this current phase.
Throughout its history, Hezbollah has stood firmly by the Palestinian people. Its sacrifices and jihad represent a significant contribution to supporting the Palestinian people, as well as to the dignity, freedom, independence, and protection of Lebanon. Even since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation and until now, at this very critical stage, Hezbollah has taken a serious, sincere, and effective position that demonstrated great steadfastness and affected the enemy on the southern Lebanese front adjacent to northern occupied Palestine, inflicting daily losses on the Israeli enemy.
The Israeli enemy has resorted to escalation, targeting Hezbollah leaders and launching a massive and terrible aggression with all its capabilities, and this has enjoyed American partnership, support, and cooperation, and armament. They imagined they could defeat Hezbollah and undermine its strength. However, since the beginning of its ground operation, which it thought would proceed easily, it has been in shock and faced defeat after defeat on the battlefield. Its army, which they believed would succeed, is suffering significant losses, forcing them to change their tactics. Yet, this has not benefited them, as they continue to incur losses and defeats in their battle.
On the fortieth day of the martyrdom of Islam and humanity, Al-Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (May Allah be pleased with him), whose martyrdom is a loss for the entire Islamic Ummah—he is one of the rare historical leaders, yet he has left the Ummah with a comprehensive school that produces heroes, brave warriors, loyal and insightful mujahidin who stand against the Israeli enemy with great courage, steadfastness, and resilience, armed with insight and faith, and a Husseini spirit of jihad. On the fortieth day of his martyrdom, Hezbollah carried out a very powerful operation, raining down missiles on the Israeli enemy in occupied Jaffa, which the enemy calls ‘Tel Aviv’. They targeted Ben Gurion Airport as well as military camps and bases, igniting fires in many settlements and factories belonging to the Israeli enemy. This effectiveness and presence come at a time when the Israeli enemy expected to have decisively resolved the battle with Hezbollah. However, Hezbollah remains fully cohesive, executing operations under leadership and control, with coordinated, studied, effective, and impactful actions.
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naeem Qassem, also delivered a speech on the occasion of commemorating the fortieth day of the departure of the martyr of Islam and humanity, his eminence Al-Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (May Allah be pleased with him). His speech was powerful and emphasised steadfastness in position and commitment to the same path, positioning Hezbollah as a clear, resilient, and steadfast model.
The same is true of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, as it continues its operations effectively with impact and an escalation in its performance, despite facing significant political and media pressures aimed at halting its operations. However, all these pressures have failed.
The Israeli enemy is facing a difficult situation despite its extremely horrific crimes. Such crimes do not represent a military victory or an achievement: the killing of children and women. What the Israeli enemy is doing in Lebanon is not different from what it is doing in Palestine: It kills and injures thousands of children and women and destroys homes; it even obliterates entire villages in southern Lebanon, and the list goes on. However, the Israeli situation is in crisis. The criminal Netanyahu’s decision to dismiss his so-called minister of defence comes amid this crisis and his internal issues, although he is his partner in crime, tyranny, and aggression. Why did he dismiss him? It has to do with the crisis internal issues he is facing, including recruitment issues. The Israeli army has suffered thousands of injuries and hundreds of deaths among its officers and soldiers, who are merely a criminal gang pretending to be an army. Despite this, they still need to compensate for their losses through recruitment. Although they have mobilised their reserves to the maximum extent, they still need to recruit more.
There is also the problem with the Haredim: those extreme religious schools that surpass others in tyranny, disbelief, criminality, and misguidance. They evade military conscription and expect others to fight on their behalf without contributing to the fight themselves. Along with this, various political issues have escalated within the criminal entity and the Zionist criminal gang, leading to this severe crisis. Therefore, their situation is far from comfortable; they face a crisis and widespread fear. The criminal Netanyahu promises them security and claims he is working to achieve security and peace for them, while they live in a state of complete fear. Millions keep rushing to shelters day and night, gripped by fear, terror, and instability. Therefore, they find themselves in a very difficult situation, not at all comfortable.
Despite the massive American support that covers over 70% to 75% of the costs of their aggression and crimes and provides them with the bombs they need to kill children and women and destroy cities and homes, their economic situation is extremely burdened by the costs of the war. Their losses have been estimated at around $160 billion so far over the course of a year, and we are now in the second month of the second year. Their economic situation is heavily burdened, crisis-ridden, and under pressure.
Regarding the support front of Yemen, the land of faith and jihad, in the ‘Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad’, operations continue in the seas, including targeting ships linked to the Israeli, American, and British enemies in the Arabian Sea. This has been the case this week, which has also seen operations deep into occupied Palestine against targets of the Zionist enemy in areas like occupied Jaffa and Umm Al-Rashrash. Additionally, a decision has been taken to deal with the deceptive tactics employed by the Israelis in transferring ownership of their vessels. The Yemeni Army made a clear announcement regarding this matter.
The Americans continue with their airstrikes and naval bombardments, as well as their efforts to embroil others in the region. They seek to embroil some Arab regimes to join them in supporting Israel and try to embroil their proxies in that, as well.
The results of the U.S. elections will not impact our fundamental position, and the enemies have no choice but to stop their aggression and blockade against Gaza, as well as their aggression against Lebanon. The results of the American elections may lead some Arab regimes and their mouthpieces connected to American and Israeli interests to exaggerate and instil fear in our peoples regarding Trump. As for us in Yemen, we have experience with Trump, and so does the whole region.
He spent four years in office, so what achievements did he accomplish? He milked some Arab regimes, taking hundreds of billions of dollars from them and draining their economies, yet he did not achieve any tangible results on the ground. He never gained victory against the fronts: He couldn’t gain victory against the front of Yemen, nor could he end the resistance in Palestine or Lebanon or gain victory against Syria, Iran, or Iraq. What did he do?! The only thing we can confirm is that He proved to be proficient at milking the Arab regimes that give him their people’s resources, their national wealth, and their enormous budgets in exchange for some weapons for discord and internal conflict among the people of the Ummah, but without reaching any outcome.
Therefore, for us, we have already set up our mind that no matter the scale of any escalation, aggression, or conflict we may face in this country, nothing can deter us from our principled religious position in supporting the Palestinian people. Neither Trump nor Biden nor any criminal in this world can sway us from our steadfast, principled, religious position in supporting the Palestinian cause.
Thus, the best option for the Americans and others is to stop the aggression and the blockade against Gaza, to cease the attacks on Lebanon, and to end these wars. If Trump really meant what he claimed regarding his intention to end wars rather than ignite them, then he would stop the aggression in which America is complicit against Gaza and Lebanon and lift the blockade to have a diplomatic achievement—this is true if he truly wants to accomplish something. As for further aggression and discord, this will not result in achieving his goal or the goals of America as a whole, Israel, Britain, or any of the enemies of our Ummah.
The sons of the Islamic Ummah who today are engaged in this battle are those who believe in Allah, turn to Him in trust, and never doubt His promise of victory. he sons of the Islamic Ummah who today are engaged in the battle against the Israeli enemy and its partners are those who embraced the culture of the Holy Quran, so they fear no one but Allah, are not intimidated by anyone else, and do not care about or bow down to any tyrant in this world, no matter how oppressive, criminal, or powerful they may be: {‘Do you fear them? But Allah has greater right that you fear Him, if you are believers’}[At-Tawbah 9:13]. {‘It is only Satan who urges you to fear his Auliya. So do not fear them but fear Me if you are believers’}[Ali ‘Imran 3:175]. {‘Those who were warned, “Your enemies have mobilised their forces against you, so fear them,” the warning only made them grow stronger in faith and they replied, “Allah [alone] is sufficient [as an aid] for us and [He] is the best Protector”‘}[Ali ‘Imran 3:173]
During Trump’s previous term as President of the United States, we faced aggression from America and its partners who attacked our country using their capabilities, various weapons, conspiracies, and schemes, although we were at that time in a much weaker and more difficult position than we are in now. Despite what we have reached today—which all is the result of relying on Allah and placing our hope in Him—we will not exult in our multitude or the capabilities we possess, as all of this becomes effective with Allah’s support, assistance, and care.
Therefore, we are present in this battle and will continue to support the Palestinian people. We stand firm in this position for the sake of Allah (the Almighty), trusting in Him, relying on Him, and having confidence in the promised victory. We will continue to escalate with all that we possess and strive, as I have said repeatedly, to do what is greater, stronger, and more powerful.
Regarding the public effort, our people continue their activities, marches, and demonstrations because this is part of our position and jihad. And participating in tomorrow’s demonstration is greatly important.
Following the results of the American elections, the Americans, all the tyrants of the world, all the enemies and friends, and all those who look up to Trump with reverence and present him as a bogeyman to intimidate the Ummah—they should all hear that our dear people, with their belonging to faith and their spirit and drive of faith (since they are the people of the Yemen of faith, wisdom, and jihad, and the descendants of the Ansar), will not be intimidated by any tyrant in this world and will never back down from their position in supporting and standing with the Palestinian people, no matter the challenges.
Allah willing, this week will see our people take to the streets in very huge numbers (in millions) on Friday to demonstrate their loyalty, steadfastness, courage, awareness, faith, and resilience, as they are a people of religion and faith, a people of values and loyalty, a people who fear none but Allah and will challenge all tyrants. Indeed, our people have done so in the past, they continue to do so in the present and will confront all tyrants and criminal oppressors of this world in the future.
I call upon our dear Yemeni people, the land of faith and wisdom, to participate in millions in the demonstration tomorrow, Allah willing, in the capital, Sana’a, and in the other governorates and districts. I call upon them to participate in the demonstration in an honorable way to challenge all the tyrants of the world, reaffirming our loyalty, steadfastness, and commitment to supporting the oppressed Palestinian people, as well as the Lebanese people and the mujahidin in Palestine and Lebanon—we will never leave them alone. We say to them once again: You are not alone; we stand with you until victory. And Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best guardian!
Participating in tomorrow’s demonstration is equal to participating in one of the most important battles in the path of Allah. Taking out to the streets is important; it carries an important message. Therefore, I urge everyone to pay attention to this.
We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us all success in seeking what pleases Him, have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, and set free our captives. We also ask Him to hasten victory and relief for the oppressed Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin and for the Lebanese people and the dear mujahidin of Hezbollah. You are the All-Hearer of prayer.
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
