The Palestinian Civil Defense said on Friday that its operations in the northern Gaza Strip have been forcibly suspended for 24 days, leaving thousands of citizens without humanitarian services or medical care as a result of the genocide committed by the Israeli enemy.
The Civil Defense stated in a statement on its Telegram platform: The Israeli enemy attacked its crews in the northern Gaza Strip on October 24, seized their vehicles, displaced most of their personnel to the central and southern areas of the Strip, and kidnapped 10 of them.
It called on humanitarian organizations to “respond to the distress calls and suffering of thousands of citizens besieged in the northern Gaza Strip due to the ongoing Israeli crimes, and to strive seriously to restore the work of the Civil Defense and operate its disabled vehicles in the town of Beit Lahia.”
On October 5, the Israeli enemy began a ground invasion in the northern Gaza Strip; under the pretext of “preventing Hamas from regaining its strength in the area.”
