UNICEF: 2,500 children in the Gaza Strip need urgent medical evacuation

The spokesman for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Kazem Abu Khalaf, announced that 2,500 children in the Gaza Strip need urgent medical evacuation.

Abu Khalaf added in a statement today, Thursday, that “the situation in the northern Gaza Strip is extremely difficult and tragic and is getting worse,” noting that “30% of children in the Gaza Strip suffer from severe malnutrition.”

Abu Khalaf explained that “95% of the schools that house displaced persons in the Gaza Strip have been completely destroyed.”

With American support, “Israel” has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 149,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and elderly people in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.

” Israel” continues its massacres, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end them immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
