Tens of thousands of Britons demonstrated in the streets of the capital, London, today, Saturday, to demand an end to the Israeli war on Gaza, and a halt to arm “Israel”.

A coalition of youth and student groups organized gatherings in front of 3 British government headquarters in London, and in “Trafalgar Square” to commemorate the “International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People”.

Activists called on the British government to “stop arming Israel”, and “to abide by the arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court against the head of the enemy entity’s government, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the dismissed Minister of Security, Yoav Galant”, if they enter the United Kingdom.

Students from the British University of “Oxford” also demonstrated in the streets of London to demand an end to the war on Gaza.

The students carried Palestinian flags and smoke flares in the colors of the Palestinian flag. British police surrounded them, in anticipation of clashes. On Friday, British workers demonstrated in support of stopping the war on Gaza, on the “Day of Action and Solidarity with Palestine”.

Earlier today, the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in  Hague, Karim Khan, asked the First Appeals Chamber to reject Israel’s request to suspend the arrest warrants issued against Netanyahu and Galant.

Khan stressed that “the Israeli request does not meet the criteria for a direct appeal according to the Rome Statute”.

Israeli officials commented on the International Criminal Court’s issuance of the arrest warrants, saying that the decision is “an unparalleled disgrace”.

On November 21, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Galant on charges of committing war crimes in Gaza.

The First Preliminary Chamber of the International Criminal Court rejected the appeals submitted by “Israel”, and the court’s statement, published on “X” platform, stated: “Israel’s acceptance of the court’s jurisdiction is not necessary”.
