The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas called for the formation of an international committee to investigate the use of internationally banned weapons by the Zionist enemy army in northern Gaza Strip that lead to the evaporation of bodies.
The movement said in a statement today, Saturday, that the horrific testimonies given by citizens and doctors in the northern Gaza Strip after the raids and massacres were carried out against innocent civilians, and the confirmation of cases of targeting with weapons and ammunition that lead to the evaporation of bodies; strongly indicate that the enemy army used internationally banned weapons during the brutal extermination campaign that has been ongoing for more than 53 days in the north.
It called on the international community and the United Nations to form a specialized international investigation committee, enter the northern Gaza Strip, and reveal the nature of the ammunition used by the fascist enemy army that leads to these injuries and unknown cases.
It also called for revealing the truth about the widespread violations of international laws against unarmed civilians, which have so far led to the martyrdom of nearly three thousand and the injury of more than ten thousand of the Palestinian people, most of whom are children and women.
It stressed that the international community, the United Nations, and Arab and Islamic countries are required today to stand up to their responsibilities by stopping these violations and ongoing massacres in the Gaza Strip for 421 days.
It explained that through these violations, the enemy is challenging all humanitarian laws and values, and international political and judicial institutions, and to expedite bringing Israeli war criminals to account for their crimes against humanity.
