Amnesty International confirmed that the “army” of the Zionist enemy is deliberately committing genocide against the Palestinians, within the framework of the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip for more than a year.
The organization explained in a report today, Thursday, that it concluded that the usurping entity and the “army” of the Zionist enemy committed at least 3 of the five acts prohibited by the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide of 1948, which are killing, causing serious bodily or mental harm, and imposing living conditions intended to intentionally bring about the physical destruction of a protected group.
It added that it reached this conclusion after months of analyzing the facts and statements of Zionist officials.
It also said that the United States and other allies of “Israel” may be complicit in the genocide, and called on them to stop arms shipments to “Tel Aviv”.
Amnesty International explained that the legal threshold for the crime of genocide regarding the Zionist practices in Gaza has been met, noting that the Palestinians are facing a “slow and calculated death”.
The Secretary-General of the organization, Agnes Callamard, said in statements to reporters that “genocide is being committed. There is no doubt about it, there is not a single doubt in our minds after 6 months of in-depth and focused research”.
Callamard added that Amnesty International did not aim to prove genocide, but after reviewing the evidence and data in general, it reached the only conclusion that “Israel is deliberately committing genocide”, denying that what was stated in the report was politically motivated or selective.
For its part, Khan’s office said in a statement that it is continuing investigations into crimes committed in the Palestinian territories, and cannot provide further comment.
Amnesty International’s report comes about two weeks after the International Criminal Court issued two arrest warrants against the criminal Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and the criminal former Minister of Security Galant.
