Enemy forces shell Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza with artillery

Field sources reported that Israeli enemy forces carried out violent artillery shelling on the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, which resulted in a fire breaking out inside the intensive care unit.
Kamal Adwan Hospital Director Hussam Abu Safiya said: “We were surprised by the entry of machinery and bulldozers into the vicinity of the hospital, which was preceded by a terrifying targeting of citizens’ homes in its vicinity, and we heard gunfire and shells without being able to do anything.”
He added: “Sudden and crazy gunfire was directed at the hospital with all types of weapons, and the enemy deliberately targeted the intensive care unit by firing at it clearly.”
He continued: “We miraculously evacuated the patients who were on ventilators from the intensive care unit and the fire broke out inside it,” noting that it is “the only unit in the northern Gaza Strip.”
Abu Safiya described the situation in the hospital, especially the intensive care unit, as “very
catastrophic, and still dangerous,” noting that “the workers tried to put out the fire with simple tools, especially since the hospital has been suffering from a water shortage for 8 days after the enemy army targeted the tanks and the water network.”
He stressed that “the intensive care unit is out of service and the situation is catastrophic,” adding: “We have appealed to the world for more than 75 days to provide protection for the health system and its workers, but there is no response.”
The enemy also carried out violent shelling on Jabalia and Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, which led to the martyrdom of at least 10 Palestinians, and the paramedics are unable to reach dozens of bodies of the martyrs and wounded.
In the southeast of Gaza City, Israeli artillery shelled the Zeitoun neighborhood. In addition, enemy vehicles opened heavy fire towards the Sudanese area northwest of Gaza City.
The enemy forces are still continuing their destruction and bulldozing operations in Zeitoun and Al-Falah areas south of Gaza City.
Two martyrs were killed and others were injured in an Israeli drone strike on a tent housing displaced people in Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip.
In the southern Gaza Strip, a martyr arrived at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis city as a result of the ongoing Israeli shelling of Rafah city.
Yesterday, a woman was killed and others were injured in an enemy strike on displaced people’s tents in al-Mawasi, west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
It is noteworthy that the death toll bg the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023, has risen to 45,059 martyrs and more than 107,041 injured.
