Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression on Jenin for third consecutive day
Israeli occupation forces continue their military assault on the city and refugee camp of Jenin for the third consecutive day, coinciding with raids and incursions into villages and towns in the Jenin district, located in the northern West Bank.
Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces brought in new military reinforcements to the city and refugee camp of Jenin. The sources also noted that “massive explosions” were heard overnight within the camp.
The sources added that several military vehicles belonging to the occupation forces arrived at dawn and in the morning to the city of Jenin and its surrounding areas as part of their ongoing military operation, which they have named “Iron Wall.”
The occupation forces have imposed a complete siege on the city of Jenin and closed off its refugee camp.
Residents have reported that Israeli bulldozers are still demolishing roads, intersections, and wrecking infrastructure and private property.
By Thursday morning, the attack on the entire Jenin area and its refugee camp had led to 12 martyrs, including a child, and over 50 people wounded, some with severe injuries, according to official Palestinian medical sources.
