More than half a million displaced persons returned to Gaza and its north

The government media office announced today, Wednesday, the outcome of the return of displaced persons from the central and southern parts of the Strip to Gaza City and its north.

The government media official said in a press statement: “More than half a million displaced Palestinians from the Gaza Strip have returned during the past 72 hours from the southern and central governorates to the governorates of Gaza and the north, via Rashid and Salah al-Din streets, after 470 days of their forced displacement since the beginning of the genocidal war committed by the “Israeli” occupation army in the Gaza Strip.”

Tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians continue to return to Gaza City and its north, via Rashid and Salah al-Din streets, for the third consecutive day, amid an atmosphere of joy and determination to thwart the forced displacement plans.
