Amnesty International: Israel is committing genocide in Gaza in full view of the world

Amnesty International Secretary General Agnes Callamard confirmed that Israeli enemy forces are committing genocide live in the Gaza Strip.

Callamard added in a report on Tuesday that the organization has documented the genocide committed by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza.

She explained that Israel’s system of apartheid and illegal occupation in the West Bank has devolved into increasing violence.

She continued, “States have watched, completely helpless, as Israel kills thousands of Palestinians, massacres entire families, and destroys homes, hospitals, and educational institutions.”

She noted the escalating attacks on the International Criminal Court in recent months, following its issuance of provisional measures orders in the case brought by South Africa against Israel and its issuance of an advisory opinion declaring the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem, illegal.

Callamard emphasized that all governments must do everything in their power to support international justice, hold perpetrators accountable, and protect the ICC and its staff from sanctions.
